Hey there

Welcome, I am Maria Borg, a full-time journalist.
Journalism for me is a method of expression, whether it is photojournalism, written, radio, or broadcast.
During my years studying journalism, I covered many topics including, environmental issues, animal rights, the fashion industry, the local workforce, and also politics. My greatest interests however are social issues.
In my journalism work, I like to include also other aspects that I am passionate about such as movie studies and drama.
My Advanced Diploma in Creative Media and years of training in Drama and Scriptwriting allow me to do so.
I am an EYE 2023 confirmed participant and the runner-up for the CedfopPhotoAwardsWinner in 2021 while I was also accepted to the 6th Thessaloniki International Media Summer Academy.
